Processing a sample shouldn’t be so hard.

Processing a stool samples into capsules is a proven and powerful option for licensed clinicians to be able to provide to patients.

However, the difficult, messy, and often invasive collection and preparation process has limited its clinical integration and healing impact.

Until now.

INTRODUCING TEND’S GUT MICROBIOME CAP DEVICE

Rapid. Reliable. Really easy to use.

Tend’s Gut Microbiome CAP (Collect and Prep) Device collects, prepares, and encapsulates the gut microbiome material found in stool for therapeutic use.

The result is a more efficient and effective preparation method for clinicians and researchers.

How it Works

Step 1 | Collect

The mess-free collection kit comfortably “goes where you go,” and snaps directly to the included cartridge when done.

Step 2 | Prepare

With a few simple turns of the device, gut microbiome material is filtered, homogenized, and sealed into oral capsules or rectal suppositories.

Step 3 | Use

Collected capsules can then be sent for microbiome testing, frozen for later use, or provided for immediate therapeutic use.

Access + Understanding =
A powerful combination

At Tend, we’re making it radically easier for researchers, clinicians, and patients to access and understand the natural healing superpower of the gut microbiome for therapeutic use for patients.

That includes high resolution gut microbiome testing that combines comprehensive sequencing technology and personalized analysis to deliver science-supported insights with no sales pitch.

“When we saw how onerous it is for clinicians and researchers to prepare transplant material from stool, and for patients to get treatment, we knew there had to be a better, more standardized user experience.

That’s what we’ve built, along with microbiome testing and analysis to better understand our gut health through this powerful lens.”
